On 1 January 2011, the euro will become legal tender in Estonia, replacing the Estonian kroon at the irrevocably fixed exchange rate of €1 = EEK 15.6466.

The European Central Bank (ECB) and Eesti Pank have launched a mass media campaign, including four TV spots, to support the introduction of the euro in Estonia.

  • what is the title of the intro musci it's amazing! anyone can tell me please?

  • @colonia1 Careful what you wish for in Spain Germany ect. Prices almost doubled after introducing the Euro.

  • With all due respect, this is nothing more but proparganda.

  • @Ander96Alex Romania, or in fact any other country wanting to be in the Eurozone is like jumping onto a sinking boat

  • The Euro notes are so ugly... I mean what's with all the bridges? Couldn't we have had something nicer, like scientists, authors, Sceneries, maybe some proverbs...

  • @colonia1 hi how is going in Estonia ? :) just wanna know since you adopted euro.

  • @ToryThatcherite

    eheheh... good one.

  • @boghead ehm, actually, you're not doing that great mate. the crisis hit that pound pretty hard, together with a huge economic drawback and a towering budget deficit in the UK. The Euro got hit as well, but compared to the pound and dollar remained relatively stable. Many EU nations, like Spain and France can be thankful to the Euro. Greece and Portugal might might be doing better if they had their own currency because the Euro is too strong for them and possible foreign investments

  • It's only the start of your downfall if the rules we all agreed upon are broken...

But increasingly the Euro is becoming the reserve currency of choice over the dollar because in Europe, we still get things done and are not blocked on every turn by some opposing party...

Once your tender is a reserve currency you basicly have an unlimited creditcard (like the US has now)

  • Idiot the euro was the worst thing too happen to europe apart from the EU that was the moment europe was no longer a group of independent countries that could make its own laws and trade with its partners the euro is sinking greece should Never have joined were having too bail out every euro country and in time everyone will go back too there original money a word of good advice Dont join the euro coz it will be the start of your downfall and the end of your country as u know it.
