Since I've been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis I've been inundated with people sharing their stories, how they feel and the treatments they are using. It's been eye opening to see what kind of a community I really have, and I want to continue the discussion.

I was going to use Humira, but I had SO MUCH anxiety about the injection (needless anxiety) that I opted for Simponi instead since it's only once a month. How long have you been on Humira? My understanding was that as the Simponi kicked in I'd be able to quit the prednisone. I really dislike the way it makes me feel.

I was diagnosed with RA about 8yrs. ago before i found out what was wrong with me i lost so much weight....i looked like i was dying i take ebrel injections instead of humira... i used to get humira infusions but that took so long.......its really not that bad to inject your self ......trust me i hate needles

What happened to the Humira? I'm still on that and Methotrexate which are only working OK for me after being on them for almost two years now. Still on Prednisone also, Cannabis is very helpful, when my stomach can take it I take Ibuprofin. I try to basically do everything I can do on my end for my general health. That includes eating right, exercising, and even things like teeth care- I'm paying more attention to it. We have to be vigilant when there's immune disorders. GL & cont vids.
