Okay Imam Hassan(a.s) had many sons. But the reason why his sons didn't get the Imama is because it only got passed down to imam Hussain's (a.s) side. So that means his son and so on. Mystery solved.

Yes. Imam Hasan (a.s) has only one son. Get that right. And his son was to younge to be an imam. And if he passed the imama to the son of hasan (a.s) it could have ended there because kasim the son of Imam Hassan (a.s) died at a younge age and didn't have a son to pass the Imama on.

@baniaz2 Imam Hasan (a.s) had 10 sons and his progeny today remains from his two sons, Hasan and Zeyd, great Ayatollah Burojerdi was from the blood line of Imam Hassan. Today there are others from the blood line of Imam Hasan. One of his sons who was 12 years old at the time by the name of Ghasem got martyred in Karbala with his uncle Imam Husain.

you know Hafez21hafez21,even whether islam leaves iran or not, really doesnt matter , as i said good resoanable muslims, jews, christians, hindus, zoroshterians , budisits etc etc etc , who want to practice their religion and get on with their lifes and live and let live is perfectly fine!
