Molly & the Tinker performing "One Last Song" on the Pig 'n' Whistle stage at the Bristol Renaissance Faire, July 23, 2011. The song took on a more poignant meaning on July 24th when M&T would perform it for the last time.
First heard them on "Stormin' The Castle" 1996, and this and Grania have been two of my favorite songs ever since. Such amazing talent. But what's this about "perform it for the last time"!?
@lestat17912003 Unfortunately, it means exactly what it sounds like. As a performing duo, as well as a wedded couple, Molly & the Tinker are no more. They performed during the first 3 weekends of the 2011 season of the Bristol Renaissance Faire, and on July 24, 2011 the final curtain came down on the act.
Oh man, I hate to hear that. If you know them, tell them I wish all the best for both of them, and thanks for years of great music. I was the weird kid on the playground singing Grania...
