I am making this video in response to "Huge Glory Cloud Bethel Church 11/13/11" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9eAgjH9cJQ retrieved: 18/11/2011 user: natetiff12345. This video
will discuss: the supernatural from a biblical point of view and challenge the motivation of the people, calling for discernment.
My comment: christians - go on youtube, you will find 'real' videos of ufo's, ghosts, other stuff...who cares if it really happened or not...get into your bibles, find God there, thats truth. John 6:63 "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit[e] and life" all spiritual fulfilment in life is in Christ and through his words
+++QUESTION
This is an unusual & amazing event, not limited to Bethel. This supernatural phenomenon is occurring in many different gatherings around the world. God is moving in closed Muslim nations, where hundreds of devout Muslims & Imams are having clear visions and dreams (appearances, conversations, manifestations) of Jesus, and are being saved. This is a recorded fact! If Jesus can appear in the flesh to people who are not true worshippers, can't he stimulate our faith through a simple manifestation?

• Jesus appeared to Saul in the Bible and this lead to Saul's conversion, this is in the Bible (acts 9). His Glory appeared to the Israelites when the law was given, to move them from unbelief into belief. Jesus, the apostles and disciples preached 'the kingdom of God' with Miracles, to lead people to salvation, exalting Christ, therefore
o.1 The truth of the gospel is not that we can do miracles, but that we can rejoice in our salvation:
o.1.1 Luke 10:19-20
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
o.2 Therefore we are not desperate for miracles, but the power of salvation
• The world is supernatural and any sort of thing can happen if a person is desperate for it, own experience / satin poses as an angel of light
o Matt 24:24
For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
• Charismatic movement is littered with false prophets who use people's desperation for their benefit, many examples, this calls for discernment. I don't personally see good or evil, simply an unhealthy amount of desperation for the supernatural. -- this is as old as the church its self:
o Galatians 1:8
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel different than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!

This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
o Col 2:18-19 "Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. 19 They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow."
