About a year and a half ago I finally found the courage to not only open my TAM, but to even record myself doing it.
Here is the highlights of that adventure.
If you are a TAM owner in need of instructions to do this procedure, please send me an email and I'll share the diagrams/etc that I used to help me figure it all out.
For the record - no, there was never an "Apple Service Source" pull-apart manual produced for this computer.
Enjoy.
I must say that was cool. I never heard of a TAM till today and figured hey what do they have inside of them. lol

@NOLIMIT69NOLIMIT2000 The TAM was Apple's limited edition birthday present back in 1996. Only 12,000 were made, only sold in a handful of countries, and as they were so limited, all repairs were done in a couple of specially trained repair centres worldwide.

@thecosmichobo Yea I read a bunch of info about them and visited the TAM site. That's how I came across your video. I grew up with Apple and I love them all the way up till the I crap they have now. I run PC now but I still love the old Apple stuff. What OS will this run. I am assuming 8?

@NOLIMIT69NOLIMIT2000 It came with a special TAM only version of 7.6.1, but mine also came with a free upgrade to OS 8 (not sure if they all did, or just due to the time I made my purchase). It could go up to OS 9.2, but only with a bit of trickery.

look at that crazy mess of ribbon ide/ata cable, I almost forgot about how messy old computers were...

@BigTechWorldx2 It was like unearthing a mummy! So much cable. Quite daunting too, as although I've played around in a number of Macs, they've never been as compact as the TAM. I imagine the new iMacs are pretty crazy inside, too.
