AIDS advocates staged a "Day of the Dead" funeral procession & protest near Gilead's headquarters to ask the pharmaceutical giant to "Do the Right Thing" & lower its prices of its lifesaving AIDS drugs. They spoke on behalf of those who have died while waiting for AIDS drugs & the 6,500+ low income, uninsured or underinsured Americans currently on waiting lists to receive the medications they need.
Great Video! Message nicely said by a professional young woman, the sentiment is wonderful. I am so glad to see the younger-generation has a conscience, there is hope for the world yet. I am one of the 99% (in addition, I am also dependent on Truvada, a Gilead medication.) It is my personal opinion; ALL Pharmaceutical Companies are not going to listen until they can hear nothing else. Good for you!!! Thank you very much, MarkO
