  • very good recipe thanks a lot,i would like to ask you ,can i use this for hair purpose ?

  • @MsSweetteeth I am not sure about this for hair.... it does have a grit to it, being not as creamy as professionally prepared.... making it wonderful for recipes like truffles, etc.... but I am not familiar with the butter and hair..... but am familiar with the oil and hair.... interesting!.... How would you use the butter in your hair?...... please share!...Hugs!

  • WOW THANKS SO MUCH :D

  • @becsta457639 You are very welcome!... Hope you try this recipe!...:)

  • TY for sharing about coconut butter! This is exactly what I needed to help make my raw cacao bars smoother. The coconut butter I used was way too expensive, so I used too little in my recipe. Now, I can make real smoooth energy bars. Here, in Mexico coconut flakes are really cheap! Blessings! ~.~

  • @redlotus888 Thank you so much!... Hope it helps you!... Lots of LUCK!!!!... mmmm!

  • @GyroplaneFan GREAT!... I still haven't made them, since I have been so busy and out of town so much!... BUT I will soon.... I love lemon!.... Big hugs to you!....

  • @mommakato4 - They turned out GREAT!!! Going to make more this weekend - I really like the Ninja, though cleanup after the coconut butter is a pain on those lids! I use 1 1/2 lemons for the lemon juice - my truffles are hard as a rock when refrigerated and SO lemony! They don't need warmed up at all, and are SO refreshing. Thanks to you for the idea of making the butter and hats off to Hebbie for this recipe!!!

  • @GyroplaneFan Awesome!... My coconut was dry too... just make sure from where you buy it, that it isn't defatted!.... My jar of homemade coconut butter is hard as a rock, due to the coconut oil in it..... though it is probably softer today, since our summer heat is finally here.... Let me know how the truffles went.... I want to make some too.... I think it will work out great and alot cheaper!... Hugs!!!!

  • My 1st attempt didn't go well - my blender was a smoothie blender, and it didn't have the "oomph" - So I got the Ninja 1200 system. THAT blender worked so much better. The coconut I'm using is dry, so there's a little mealy, but at 2.99 a pound, it's a LOT cheaper than the $12+ I was paying for the jar stuff. Going to take the butter I made and make truffles tonight and see how they turn out...
