I remember seeing this ad aged about six and thinking that the robots were the coolest things I'd ever seen. So I badgered and nagged my mother until one evening, a plate of Smash was plonked down in front of me instead of the usual real potatoes. Sweet Jesus of Nazareth.....the stuff tasted VILE. Thirty years on, my stomach still heaves remembering it
