This version was created with public capturing and downloading in mind. See below for other viewing options.

DESCRIPTION:

Combination of Michael W. Smith's "The Wonderful Cross" praise and worship song, with footage from "The Passion of the Christ", with footage from "The Creation Movie" from the Creation Music Festival. This music video was edited by me, Matt Headley for Hope Christian Fellowship. It was first shown during the 2006 Easter morning communion. At first I just wanted to add footage of people worshiping in concert, but it kind of became, in my opinion, a video that refocuses on and celebrates the basis for big and modern Christian music concerts, no matter the genre. Because sometimes the meaning and the music (especially the lyrics) gets lost in the lights, video screens, stage and crowd antics, etc. even in non-Christian mainstream concerts. But of course, the video has the much deeper meaning, the basis of our religion, but most importantly, our faith, because the two are very different!

LOW QUALITY ORIGINAL VERSION:

The original version was uploaded here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_TF_nnhtjs

There are many comments and views there, but youtube has greatly improved in visual quality, and our church has our own youtube account now, so it was time to re-upload.

I'm leaving it there for all the wonderful comments, and if the Medium Quality Version stutters on your computer.

DOWNLOAD:

A few people since posting the original have asked me if I could mail the video to them. Or, you totally have my permission to download and show.

I recommend finding, downloading, and using the Youtube Downloader HD and choosing the AVI HD option.

I then recommend finding, downloading, and using Format Factory to take the Youtube Downloader avi file and converting that file to your preferred video file and resolution.

For example, we use a video projector at our church with the 1024 x 768 XGA resolution. If you have an older projector use a lower resolution, or if you have a full HD resolution projector, you can use that resolution even though you'll probably get a slightly more blurry picture.

The original video was standard definition at 720 x 480. I encoded that to WM9 720 x 1280, then uploaded this version. The concert footage was from a VHS tape, and I'm amazed it held up in quality this much!
