This is a video showing what I do to get my curly hair so curly. I use DevaCurl One Condition (forgot to put that in the video). I DO NOT USE SHAMPOO... just so you know. I now clean my hair with baking soda. I put about two tablespoons in about 24 ounces of water and put that in a water bottle and spray it all over my head (while scrubbing my scalp). Then I put apple cider vinegar over my hair... and follow with a good conditioner. Maybe one day I'll just use the apple cider vinegar and stop the conditioner.

The gel in the video is LA Looks, I think number 8. I now use Suave gel because there's no alcohol in it. I also use conditioner to cleanse my scalp since baking soda can be a little drying. I use Suave Naturals tangerine I think it's called. Really cheap. I love any products from Devacurl, and I also like Aubrey Organics honeysuckle rose.

  • Can you do my hair please!!

  • OMG Calling all curly girls!!!! I tried this and it works!!!!! Also if u live in Canada...drugstores or walmart sells a conditioner that is sulfate and silicone free called european formula. I used to use tigi curls rock styling cream, which was 22 dollars for a small bottle and i use sooo much...now i found the equate gel which was 2 dollars and sulfate and silicone free i barely needed anything because my hair is heathier. Apple cider vinegar..baking soda as a shampoo works!!!!

  • I wish i had this type of curly hair :( - i have afro lool

  • whats the apple cider vinegar and baking soda for?

  • My hair is exactly like yours, even if mine's darker:) Your video is really useful, but try to use a cream (I use the one by Sunsilk/Ouidad), it works even better! xo

  • I used gel a longgggggggggg time ago, and my hair became really hard because of it. Not souple at all..

  • I really enjoyed your video thanx for the tips and what's the names of the songs and artist of the songs on the video? I love it!

  • Who don't you just go to a salon & get a perm like that? Obviously your all desperate to have hair like that because you use liquids that pretty much aren't even meant for your hair. & stop judging girl who don't have as "Perfect" curls as you do. Your joints are fake anyway because you have to go through all that stuff to get them to be curly. So basically your in that category- the one where you say "some girls don't have perfect curls-" or "girls will never get curls like me if they don't us

  • Why don't you just go to the salon & do a perm like that? Obviously your all pressed so your hair could look like that because you wash it with some liquids that aren't meant for your hair. & stop judging girls who don't have as "Perfect" curls as you do. Them joints are fake anyway- cuz you use all that stuff.

  • You're pretty!

  • @theshellest thanks :)

  • @twistedmixedchick13 it didn't for me just make sure you lather your conditioner really well on your scalp after the baking soda is rinsed out. Also, if u use a silicone free conditioner wont leave residue or build up on the scalp.
