Stacy Jones, Horace Schemer and the gang get the hilarious, sometimes kooky but always heart-warming treatment of Tom Miller and Bob Boyett in this concept. In other words, Shining Time Station is transformed into a show joining the ranks of Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters and the like as a Miller/Boyett Production, co-produced by the Griffard/Adler partnership, in association with Lorimar Television, and distributed (in syndication) by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

  • What was this?

  • Do people not read video descriptions anymore?

  • @VaultMasterDBT nope, lol. But seriously was this really aired on television?

  • I was being sarcastic, I hope you are too! Many people still read them, it's important!! I guess I didn't feel the need to make it crystal clear in the description, but no, this did not air on TV. It's completely edited and altered by myself.

  • Oh My God! This was priceless! The promo at the end was Brilliant. But was BETTER DAYS an actual show?

    Very nice job! Keep up the great work! Thanks for posting!

    A++++++++

    Have a great night, a great day tommorrow, a great night tommorrow, a great night tommorrow, a great week, a great month, a great Advent, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! All The best in 2011 and beyond! Puerto Rican Love from New York City!

  • If you watch the first part of that custom TNG episode, you'll notice that the theme is sung by Jesse Frederick--mostly known for his work on Miller/Boyett shows. However, CBS' Better Days was not a Miller/Boyett production.

  • The "Better Days" advertised here was the (fictional) Star Trek: The Next Generation-themed sitcom I have created. One actual episode of TNG, "The Host", has been retro-fitted by me into the Miller/Boyett format. The theme music I used for this was the title track to the real-life CBS sitcom Better Days, which, as FutureNewsAnchor has mentioned, was short-lived (three episodes I believe, in the fall of 1986).

  • @prlad85 Yes, "Better Days" was a real show, but it didn't last very long.

  • 6:16- His first name is Horace.
