Kansas City Twestival Local - Sept. 11, 2009

The Kansas City Social Media Club will host a local Twestival, an offline fundraiser, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2009. Voting was open to the Kansas City online community to find a beneficiary for the event. Wayside Waifs, an independent humane society, was selected to receive 100 percent of the donations gathered through the event.

Twestival Local will be held at the Brooksider Bar and Grill, 6330 Brookside Plaza, Kansas City, Mo. For a $15 donation, Twestival goers will enjoy music, food and beer, supplied by local bands and distributors supporting the evening.
