lol, it must be that since your 16 you dont know that 1988 is mkiii years. And the stock ct26 turbo on it can only run up to 12lbs! And 12 lbs is NOT recomended on the ct26! HAHAHA youre smart!

The turbo slows to a stop pretty quick since there's nowhere for it to blow air anymore when the throttle is closed. The old idea that a turbo takes a few minutes to slow down after being revved up is BS. Once the turbo has no place to move air to, and little or no exhaust powering it, it slows down very quickly. The BOV vents while it is slowing down to relieve the pressure spike, but once the BOV closes... the turbo has already pretty much slowed down to idle speed.

@dattrigga I love my super dragger, it's old, and rotted out now, so I'm gonna get another one soon. Love it.

@fasterthanyou22 It's good to 15, beyond 15 that's when it loses efficiency. Do a little more research.
-
@highlanderslave doesnt mean its pushing 14 effeciently. my gtp38 on my 7.3 powerstroke will push 40 psi, but i shouldnt take it past 28 psi, because thats all the turbo is good for. any higher than 28 and the turbo is working against itself.
-
@fasterthanyou22 The CT26 is good til 15 PSI. Mine holds 14 just fine, and is solid as a rock. You're smart, NOT!

i have this exhaust on mine with a full 3 inch catless exhaust and it sounds pretty good if you ask me....atleast it'll keep the cops away while giving your flow.
I've also debated on whether or not I will leave this video up since so many fail to read what is in the description. Like I mentioned, this exhaust is supposed to be quiet, with a low rumble. However, I think my video makes it even quieter than in actuality due to audio quality differences and the fact I didn't really rev it that much.

man to me it is not worth the work of welding bla bla bla to get a near stock sound
carlosr428 3 years ago
Not sure what you are talking about. Who said anything about welding?
This is an HKS catback, and has proven really open up the exhaust flow.

yeah... this is a totally stock exhaust. i would know because i own a 91 mk3. yours still has the stock muffler baffle pieces of shit. i hope you blow your turbo cuz you shut it off right after you reved it. your an idiot. and you dont deserve a supra... of any kind

When was a stock exhaust ever coated like that? And with chrome tips? Oh that's right- NEVER! No, this is a straight through, mandrel bent exhaust, you moron. HKS part LET-T16. How much clearer does it need to be than that?
The motor was warm, and I hardly even revved it. Funny my Supra has been down a total of one week in the 16 years of its life. I think I know what I'm doing. You don't deserve a Supra- you don't even know what the stock exhaust looks like. Now go fuck off.

very well said
you are at least 100% correct on that comment, people like skatekid147 are the kind of retards that give all import tuners a bad name.

Thank you dudzman. I debated on deleting his comment because it is so damn stupid, but I guess I'll leave it up for everyone to see- in its own greatness.
