@cocobourgeois Congratulations, you've fallen for it too. No this was not originally on the Il Discotto label. Please check discogs entry 1378875 and see that the entry was REMOVED because it was found out to be a fake. :) Go figure.

Hah, come to think of it, I guess Todd perfectly led us up the garden path! :) We must consider that "Solange" is a character (!!) Mahogany Reynolds plays in a 2009 film called "The Boy With The Sun In His Eyes" and sings this song! And that film plot actually happens in the 80s.

@boweryboy07 this was originally on the il discotto label. the reason it sounds the way it does is because it was was polished up straight from the original reel recording. so yeah, the video is fake, but the song isn't.
