Quite possibly the best episode!
A well crafted thriller of 2 sisters; one Sandy's GF and the other a traitor, the "Danzig Lady" a radio propaganda personality for the enemy. Bombing a fighter factory in Marienburg East Prussia proves to be hopeless task, taking heavy damage until General Britt enlists the help of a spy named "blue bird".
Probably one of the best written of the entire series! And what an opening teaser! WOW.
If you like this series as much as I go over to 12OclockHighTV.com for the highest quality DVDs. There will never be a "studio" version.

  • The guy that wrote this script insults Army intelligence and all men that flew in the sky to defeat Germany.

I am sure all the generals are going to be sitting around the radio listening to Nazi propogand or even reacting to it.

    Stupid Hollywood writers.

Not one of them ever served in the US military.

  • One of favorite shows, when I was a kid. I miss the old shows.

  • @ 1:55 -- it's Robbie from My Three Sons (i think)

  • When war heroes and heroines are spoken of, it is easy to forget that there were and are many who served in the resistance, allied intelligence services and died doing so..very often their sacrifices were buried in secret reports, classified until revealed long after their deaths or made public only when they themselves felt safe to so do. This episode is a tribute to all of them that did "pecular service" as they say...it is also a tribute to those that still serve covertly yet valiantly!

  • I love both seasons of robert lansing and paul burke. forever twelve o'clock high. the movie of gregory peck is also great.

  • I prefer the episodes with Robert Lansing. Too bad they killed him off. My dad and I loved this show when it was on, I think 1964-66.

  • I got one thing to say: Thank God for cruise missiles and smart bombs! Sure could have used them 70 years ago.

  • My blood is boiling---This was the BEST TV show ever. Ask yourself why they don't show it on TV anymore---Its a conspiracy. This show promotes patriotism and love on nation! (we can't allow that?)

  • B-1 Bob was in an episode on TOCH? say what?

  • Sandy's got double-duty---Turrent gunner and flight engineer.
