The now defunct Wongs once played host to a bunch of hooded '60s garage rocker madmen known as Thee Ohnos! Blast from the past like a kick in the ass.........
I remember this show. We dressed in chef coats and our new bass player at the time forgot his. We borrowed an apron from the kitchen staff to make us look like the chefs and our bass player as a busboy.
Long Wongs was the best live music venues. I loved the fact that there was a window looking out on Mill Avenue and people always stopped and stared when they saw us playing in skimasks
Man, this is digging some graves for me. All the memories of my youth coming back.
Thanks a million!
