Denver Colorado's Official Song by Mike Crowley and KBTV (now KUSA) channel 9. This song was distributed, AT NO CHARGE by Safeway stores of Colorado and has no copyright. Regardless, it is here for educational purposes and to educate the public that Denver really DOES have an Official song!
Made in July 1976. This is not the original video that went along with this song, I threw this video together from a collection of photos. I haven't been able to find the actual, original film/video anywhere. I haven't seen it since it aired during commercial breaks on Channel 9 in the 1970's.

I believe Mike and his group "Mom, Home and Apple Pie" recorded this song. We used to go see them perform at a nightclub in Littleton Colorado they were fantastic! I miss being able to go see Mike and Bob Turner perform they were the best!!

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this... My family had this 45 and we played it over and over and over... We were trying to remember the lyrics and your video made it possible! :) I have two uncles who worked for Safeway...I'll bet we got the record from them...LOL! Beautiful job with the video...
