I disagree with you on Sweeney Todd but I do agree with you on NINE. So overdone and nonoe of the performaces did anyhitng for me excpt for Cruz's perfomance. i though she was fun to watch. The other may as well been played by a plank of wood

@folladordeprostis Sweeney Todd was an abortion of a great musical. It tanked at the box office despite a mega watt star and a great story. Johnny Depp was dreadful and sounded like a little boy and Helena Bonham Carter was sleepwalking. And if you have never seen the show on stage, you can't make a fair comparison. I saw all three Broadway productions and Depp was like a child playing dress up. I bet you didn't even see NINE. It was an overproduced mess but hardly dumb.
