Goldikova seems to have saved her best for her last season of racing. Having already defeated the 2010 Prince of Wale's Stakes winner, Byword, in the Prix d' Ispahan. Then, in a great race at Ascot. Defeated a very game Paco Boy in the Queen Anne Stakes. And most recently, easily dispatched the 2010 Falmouth Stakes winner, Music Show, in the Prix Rothschild. Under a hand ride the whole way by Peslier. I don't see anyone dethroning Goldikova in the 2010 B.C. Mile (Turf). JMO.

That's what really is so scary to think about. You watch the acceleration that Goldikova has. She's so rarely ever beaten. Yet Zarkava was able to spot her an unbelievable amount of lengths, then still catch Goldikova and run by her like she was sitting still. That's no knock at Goldikova. That's just high praise for Zarkava!!!

thats how you knew zarkava was a real great , to beat goldikova on the bridle over a mile, and stay a mile and a half so well, her and sea the stars were freaks
-
zarkava absolutely outclassed goldikova in france , its shame they have retired her
-
I was just thinking that myself. Puts Zarkava's form in an even glossier light. Just a shame they didn't decide to send Zarkava over to destroy Zenyatta in the Ladies Classic - or stick her in the Classic itself.

Still counting your money Dutrow?? No excuses really. You had the home turf. She would have won by 5 if you lot actually sent your horses abroad for once.

at 1.25 - crikey can she win
at 1.28 it's all over
Now that's acceleration, great performance and lovely to watch.
... and when you realize that Goldikova was crushed twice by Zarkava .... Can you imagine what she could have done there ... O O O O Zarkava you'll ever be the greatest !!!!!!!
