Ya many rock bands sang about satan, but its not because they worshipped them dude, read the lyrics man. Many of them symbolized satan as greedy men (political), some sang about satan as anarchy, some did because they were into cults or some bodo shit like the beatles/ozzy but rock n roll isn't about demonds. Many underrated bands like pink floyd do not sing about demonds, the freaks up stairs promote it though thats a fact I know my history.

I wonder if the hand sign for them is similar to praying for christians? Reminds me of tebowing. The big difference is that these people don't seem to be idolizing each other and no particular person started the trend. Which leads one to believe that they all believe in something similar. My best guess is that is that its like a prayer. They could be asking for power, fame and fortune...possibly protection. They might be calling or worshiping some kind of genii or negative powerful creatur
