It's usually hard to pick out the green flash on most clips at youtube, but your preparatory work did help for the second time round. My wife and i saw the green ray (flash) at Aruba on the last evening of a holiday several years ago- and what made it more special was that we both already loved the film The Green Ray/Le Rayon Vert by Rohmer, never expected to see the real thing. Even the clip at the end of The Green Ray on youtube suffers from the visibility problem; on TV it's very clear
