I must say that I'm very proud to have been born on the same day that The Fall recorded their first Peel Session. Thanks for that info, Mr Peel.

My junior year of college (1986) I had a chance to study abroad. I got offered slots in Australia, France, and Glasgow Scotland. I picked Scotland for just one reason -- hopes that I'd have a chance to see THE FALL. Once there, I got a job at the student union and helped out with their concert series -- setting up equipment, etc. Imagine my shock when I saw that The Fall were going to play the next week! What an incredible show. Glasgow was the place to be!
