In total, this took around 120 hours to render. So, I rendered it out as a JPG sequence over the course of about 3 weeks at night while I slept, then re-rendered that JPG sequence out as an h.264 video once the entire thing was complete.
Done entirely in Adobe After Effects with no 3rd party plugins at all.
why would you render as jpeg sequence first? not go straight to mp4? im kinda new to this.

@JustSamples Because it took so long to render, and I needed to use the computer it was rendering on during the daytime.
So, I left it rendering a chunk of the JPG sequence overnight, each night for about 2 weeks. Once the whole JPG sequence was rendered out, it took very little time to turn those into an H.264.
