Biography: DINO:
Dino Rađa, transcribed in English as Dino Radja (born April 24, 1967, in Split, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia), is a retired Croatian basketball player. He was a member of the Jugoplastika team of the late 1980s and early 1990s, which he helped to two European Cup titles. In the United States he is best known for the three and a half seasons spent with the Boston Celtics of the NBA.
Rađa began his basketball life in his native town, as a junior at KK Dalvin. From there he went on to KK Split to polish his professional career. He marvelled with Jugoplastika and POP 84 (two most notable sponsorships borne by KK Split), as he and his friend Toni Kukoč led the team to the pinnacle of European club basketball twice in a row (1989 and 1990). Rađa would not stay in Split for a historic three-peat the club achieved, led by Kukoč, the following year, but would instead leave for Italy; although he was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 1989 NBA Draft, in 1990 he signed for Virtus Roma, where he spent the next three years. Dino Rađa is currently the president of his first professional team KK Split. He joined the Celtics in 1993. In his first season Radja averaged 15.1 points and 7.2 rebounds, earning All-NBA Rookie Second Team honors, along with Kukoč, at that time a rookie with the Chicago Bulls. He spent three successful years with the Celtics, averaging 16.7 points and 8.4 rebounds. In 1997 a trade that was to send Radja to the Philadelphia 76ers for Clarence Weatherspoon fell through when he failed his physical on June 24, 1997, which was a likely catalyst in his decision to leave the United States.Radja was on the Yugoslavian team that won the silver medal in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. He was also a part of golden Yugoslavian teams at the 1987 FIBA Junior World Championship in Bormio, Italy, 1989 Eurobasket in Zagreb, and the 1991 Eurobasket in Rome.Following Croatian independence, Radja became an important part of the Croatian national basketball team, most notably at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, where Croatia won the silver medal. Radja was also on the Croatian teams that won the bronze at the 1993 Eurobasket in Germany, 1994 World Championship in Toronto and the 1995 Eurobasket in Athens.

Eric Scott Montross (born September 23, 1971 in Indianapolis, Indiana) is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the NBA.Montross attended Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis and graduated in 1990.[He was the starting center for the Indiana state champion Wildcats for Lawrence North in 1989. He was selected as a McDonald's All American in 1990. That same year, he was named to the USA Today All-USA first Team. Later in 1990, he began attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was part of the North Carolina Tar Heels team that won the NCAA Championship against Michigan in 1993 and was named an All-American as a junior and senior. In 1994, he started the Eric Montross Fathers Day Basketball Camp. During his first year in the NBA, he averaged 10 points per game, and was selected to the 1995 Rookie All-Star Game and named to the NBA All-Rookie 2nd Team. However, Montross would never again reach this level of production. The Celtics came under fire for selecting Montross over players such as Eddie Jones, Jalen Rose, and Aaron McKie. During his career in the NBA, Montross played with the Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, and the Toronto Raptors. Montross announced his retirement in August 26, 2003, due to a foot injury and was waived by the Raptors in February, 2004.Montross is now an announcer for the University of North Carolina.

Best euro PF along with Nowitzki

Radja played 3 seasons in NBA and finished with average of 16,7pts 8,4rbs while in his best season he averaged 19,7 9,8 + 1,6asists 1,5bl. He was about to sing contract with Sixers during summer when they selected Iverson bud didn't pass medical. He also won lot of trophyes and titles with national teams (Yugoslavia and Croatia) and clubs in Europ.

If he had better knees he would even make better career.

  • Eric Montross was my favorite player ever at UNC. Thanks so much for this....

  • Sorry for the repeat posts below. The computer was glitching, and seemed like it wasn't registering my response.

  • You can actually get one pretty easily for "just" $100, if you go to any of those known sites where you can buy nba replica jerseys. Look for 10%, 15% off internet deals, look online for coupon codes. You can also get a replica (customized) for "just" $59, but I prefer the better one for $99, as it's better value for the dollar. You can have just about any name and number combination you wish (a few exceptions because of some wacky rule).
