This is so naive, I agree that 5 year olds shouldn't have games for they're growing up, but not 8-18. It is not shocking they only ask kids who have the worst deformity (even though her hands didn't even look bad) and not just ANY teen in general, always the worst case one or the "terrified" mother of the kid. I'm 18 and I been gaming since 8 and I am still normal(if not better hand-eye coordination and reading/deducing capability) then others who just go out and throw a football till college

That's why it's better to play computer games. Haha. XD Lucky i start playing at only 9years old.

Now, you may say how "Then how come your fingers are fine", because I know the limits of playing. i don't continue playing if my hands start hurting or start aching; I stop and rest them. This girl is a idiot for not following that simple rule of video games. Video game booklets(I read and collect them as well) clearly state that you should not play if your hands ache. This is sort of the same thing with keyboards ad computers; but do you see the news companies reportig on that? NO!!

@gttown44 yea just like there are so many parents and children who are retarded, or viotlent, or with missing teeth, she has nothing to worry on. I am happy that I guess I "survived this epidemic thats ruining gamers" but I seriously dont see her as a gamer and if she was and she played the n64 then she has issue...She must of held it wrong for too long.

im sure theres some controller that less impacts the growth and deformation of the hands though. i'll admit the n64 is a really weird controller. and i bet something like wii isnt doing this.
