Northants Residents March Against the WNJPU

29th September. Spearheaded by the Quinton Action Group, over 300 residents from all over Northamptonshire turn up with five tractors and wheelbarrows full of petitions at Beckets Park. They march from the park to the offices of the West Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit. WNJPU are responsible for producing the most incompetent and ill-considered plans for 62,000 new houses in Northamptonshire over the next 12 years. 21 villages will be lost to the plan. There is no proper funding for essential infrastructure. Brownfield site development is being ignored in preference for the destruction of green fields (cheaper for the Developers).

Fantastic, power to the people not the quangos.

Just remember some of the people who sit on the committee are supporting such a massive expansion were voted into power. DONT VOTE FOR THESE TURNCOATS AGAIN.
