Fly taps are for INSIDE your house, NOT where they live outdoors. That's like putting ant traps or mouse traps in the woods. Be smart.

You probably saw an increase in flies in your house due to a chemical in the product. That fly trap attracts the flies and then traps them. But remember, it also attracts them with whatever chemcial or whatever makes them come to it. So basically its like the flies saying "hey guys, theres this great smelling hang out place in this dude's backyard, come and join!" so now all the flies in the neighborhood gather around your backyard....and that's exactly why i dont use those things.
