Really makes me wish Grace Slick had succeeded in spiking Trisha Nixon's birthday punch with LSD at her White House birthday party. Can you imagine Trickey Dick Nixon on acid? If ANYONE has such a video, I would pay very good money to watch it.. Hint, hint...CIA, NSA are you listening? :)

The ideas expressed by the CCHR are so extreme, bizarre, irrational, illogical and ridiculous that it is impossible to take them (or Dianetics) seriously or reasonable in any way. For example, Hubbard (and the Church of Scientology) blames psychiatry for the rise of Hitler and Stalin, World War 2, the Holocaust, the attack on the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre on 9/11, the Virginia Tech shootings, the war in Kosova and numerous other international tragedies.

In 1950, Hubbard originally created Dianetics to be an adjunct to psychiatry, and respected psychiatry as he sought psychiatric help himself several times. However, not surprisingly, Dianetics was rejected completely by the Psychiatric and Medical community and Hubbard took this rejection personally and became intensely bitter and paranoid towards Psychiatry. So, in 1969, he set up the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) to expose what he considered to be the evils of psychiatry.
