Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhall Intro movie

The intro movie for the Throne of Bhall expansion pack to Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, which ends the overarching storyline of the Baldur's Gate series and takes place in the Forgotten Realms setting. My personal favorite videogame series of all time!

In Baldur's Gate you discover your lineage as a child of the god of murder, Bhall, and do battle with your power hungry brother Sarevok intent on trying to fulfill a series of apocalyptic prophecies in order to become himself the new god of murder.

In Baldur's Gate 2 you and your group are defeated and tortured by the archmage Irenicus as he tries to manipulate you and your special heritage towards his own needs, in the process accidentally unleashing the dark essence of Bhall within you and killing many characters from the first game.

And Finally the Throne of Bhall expansion, where the time of the prophecies have truly begun and the final chapter in the story begins.

Does anybody know if there's a mod that gives you more GORE?

This is a 2D isometric strategy style rpg and you want gore? No, there aren't any mods that I know of which add gore. Why would they?

Methinks you're looking in the wrong place if gore is what you're after.

Well its just i liked the gore in fallout so i was hoping to find some in BG but thanks for the info.

True, Fallout 1 and 2 had a ton of gore for their time.

But no, Baldur's Gate has nothing like that. Some enemies explode if you get a critical fatal hit on them, but that's the most gory it gets. Fallout series has always been the bloodiest of the old 2D rpg games.

BG shadow of amn and throne of bhall intros invoke so much emotion by great voice acting! I havent seen intros like this in aNY other game..and I dont think we will see.

I want to know what haens to bad and I've already read most of the walkthrough we own, shame on me ,_,. But how I want it, and if I could download it online ( I can't seem to figure out how to work torrents) I would in a heart beat.. *tear* I'll find it one day (:, anyone want to mail me their copy? ^_^

This game (and BG1) has moments that other games can't reach, except (imo) perhaps Planescape : Torment. Deus Ex also had great depth : this was altogether a much better time for games. Nowadays all games are aimed at a mass market, the one aim being profit, not quality. "Cult" games in future will be a parody of what they once were. Shame on developers and even more on publishers : taking advantage of the young.
