The hit detection on the goal keeper i.e which parts of the model/body can be hit by the ball.

For example, in real life, the ball would only be effected if it actually hit your arms, whereas in some games there is an invisible extension of the arm which the ball will hit, and therefore not actually reach the arm itself. This is bad hit detection.

Hope that helped shed some light onto the subject lol.
