Two Worlds Collide ~JEMI Story~ Chapter 1

Hey Everyone, this is the first chapter.
Chapter 1: The First Look

Demi POV
I was walking through the snow on the streets of New York City. I was headed off to work with my purse lying on top of my shoulder and my hot coffee in my hand. The snow wasn't coming down to hard, but with the sidewalk so busy and with the snow on the ground; I was just praying that I wouldn't fall or then for sure I would be late for work and my boss hates when anyone was late. While trying to watch my step, someone had nudged me in the shoulder, I had almost lost balance, but luckily I regained it without any damage. I turned around to give the person a piece of my mind, but when I turned I saw this very cute guy. He had a shorter version of a mohawk style hair, that had snow all over it but still adorable; as well as these big glasses that would make most guys look dorky, but not him. He actually seemed pretty sexy to me. He apologized and his voice was so manly and strong but at the same time sweet and innocent. Then he gave me the sweetest smile, and I swear I thought I would melt. I said it was ok and returned the smile, and then we were sort of just staring at each other while people walked around us, I glanced at my watch and I realized that if I didn't get going I would be late. I pushed my purse on top of my shoulder and started heading to work. For the rest of the way, I kept thinking of him and regretting not staying longer or at least get his name. Why do I care about this job, that I don't really like, well I guess it pays the bill and keeps me out of my parents house. I finally reached a building; the name on it was "MUSIC LAND PRODUCTION". I gave out a big sigh and headed through the door and to the elevators.

Joe POV
I trudged through the snow while grumbling at about how mad I was at my dad for dumping this stupid meeting on me last minute because he had to go to Vermont. That is such a lie, he's just trying to get me to love business as much as he does and wants me to become the business man he is, but why can't he get it; I don't want to be like that. I see a Starbucks not too far away so I head on in and get some coffee and a cinnamon raisin muffin, which is my favorite muffin, people think I'm weird for liking it but I don't care. I eat my muffin on my way to work but it still doesn't make me feel better I wasn't supposed to be at work. My dad said I could have the day off, I was going to hang with friends and head off to this new opening of a club tonight that my friend got VIP passes to, but I will be stuck at the office all day. I should have watched where I was walking especially because I think I was so mad that I nudged some girl kind of hard in the shoulder that she almost fell, from what I saw from the corner of my eye. I felt really bad. I turned I saw this beautiful girl and she had these big brown eyes that reminded me of a puppy. Her hair was wavy and smooth and it reminded me of snow when you first feel it in your hands after it falls. I said I was sorry and gave her a sweet smile and she said it was ok and her voice was like an angel, and she smiled back. I couldn't stop staring into those brown eyes. Then she looked at her watch and left, I chuckled and headed back to work. After seeing that girl I couldn't stop smiling and wasn't mad at my dad but at myself, for not even getting her name. I kept thinking about her for the rest of the way. I reached a building that had on the name "SPIN THIS RECORDS". I went through the revolving doors.
