Thank you so much for posting the video that first introduced me to tricky all those years ago. He has done such fantastic stuff since but this is still the one and we all know why.

argh, the cypress hill interpolation at 4:37 - genius! made their contemporaries look ordinary, even when they patently weren't.

@KmarkD agreed, this is defintiely way superior to the album version: (a) cos it was one of the less memorable beats on Maxinquaye, which is to no-one's discredit given the sublime standards set by other songs on the album but also (b) it shows just how strong the songwriting is, below Tricky's (genius) production, and they never got enough credit for that. And the interplay of those voices, winding around each other - it's like Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris, just special.
