The religion of peace is up in arms (again)

With the release of Fitna (the movie) onto the internet the Muslim world is (predictably) up in arms.

The Muslims have called it an insult to their religion and started protesting in the street, burning images of Geert Wilders (the creator of the film), etc. Surely someone will soon place a Fatwa on his head. We have come to expect this from the "religion of peace".

Strange how they remain silent when all other atrocities are committed in the name of Islam, but Allah help you if you draw a cartoon, name a teddy bear Muhammad, or make a short movie pointing these things out.

hi their i am a Muslim and i really do respect you, because u are letting us know that, our religon is getting hijacked , by radicals,

but their are islamic group stand up against terrorism and the radicals , but sadly they havent had much attention from the media and counries, their are many anti-islam hu try to degrade islam and its teaching

ALSO: the ones who complain about the movies and trivial things like that are often those who are full of crap, not the sensible ones, yet again.

the good ones are quiet because most often, the sensible among human kind dont speak out or bitch as often. good point though.

@askegg lol thanx but their is sumfin that needs to be mentioned, the quran is a unique book and, in order to understand the text u have to read the whole chapter, people take verses from the chapter and relating the whole book based on that verse, for example, if i read a sentence from a novle i would base the whole novle in relation to the sentence, so that is why u have people miss understanding the quran,

I cannot speak for you or Islam, but it seems there are many in the religion who have radical and dangerous views. Some of them even run entire countries. I do not know what to do about that, but perhaps you can deal with the issue from the inside?
