As Mars becomes smaller and smaller, now just 9 arcseconds in diameter, and a tough target for my 8" SCT, Saturn is rising in the early evening and starting it's show. The rings now are just slightly inclined and we can just barely make out their separation from the planet. Hard to see the Cassini Division in this video, but always fun to try. This video was made using a camcorder attached to a 15mm eyepiece with a Digi-T adapter, and 2x barlow. Enjoy!

  • @SensejPro I would recommend you buy 9.25 inch Smith Cassegrain instead. It's bigger and a bit more expensive.

  • Was good seeing, sharpness and details are great, Grat! By 0.5 mounth i will buy,a 8'' (Synta), i'll see what power is in ;)

  • Thank you for showing, the amazing thing is Saturn also has some water in it and it makes most of it's rings.

  • Super jdastro!!!!
