well for me this was awesome I'm extremely new to udk at all and 1st person camera is frustrating in any game, thanks for this simple fix, my mind cant handle trying to learn udk and scripting and all that at once.. and this was the easiest way to start thanks.

you press f the player dies. When he stands up again the camera goes 1st person. that's a problem. and do you know how to put a button trigger to change camera from 1st to 3rd into gameplay?

@ShameInYou I figured it out, basically what you need to do is exactly what he showed us in the video..... PLUS connect the player (circle) to instigator (its the bottom left pink one, on player spawned)

and yes, the camera works with my bots, but if you make a deathmatch game it spawns random bots with mine, and the random bots make my camera toggle 1st person to 3rd person everytime a random bot spawns.

Thank you very much this helps a lot, one question though.
When i Hit the F key to fient I guess, then I jump back up my camera goes 1st person mode. how can i fix this?

Not bad, but just like the rest.. if you spawn bots your view cuts in and out. you know how to work around that?
