@Desertphile Actually yes, since they have an intrinsic magnetic field which is non-conservative and can produce forces such as Lorentz force, which produces acceleration and evidently an increase in kinetic energy. The mechanism can be similar to a particle accelerator, that only uses limited electromagnetic fields for accelerating particles. As you can observe the RPM has a superior limit, the speed up can't continue indefinitely since magnets have no infinite energy.

I believe the words we are looking for here are THE LAW OF CONSERVATION OF ENERGY. There cannot exist a perpetual motion machine in our dimention. The first adding of energy is the most obvious, wind resistance. There is no possibility of these machines working outside of a vacuum. Next is friction, there is no possibility of these machines working if they have contact with any thing else, because if they did it would transfer energy, in the form of heat. I would suggest using earth rotation.

Now using a smiler device and the Gate set up this might could work. But only with a pulley offsetting obsoleting with an axle.
