Gord Osbourne Race Engine Builder for over 20 years and CASCAR Crew Chief uses the SparkPlug Sensor on a problem truck. He checks all the plugs in a matter of minutes while the engine is running and realizes that it's a "probably a fuel problem" in his own words. Inventor Trevor Bryant watches on and explains a bit of how the SparkPlug Sensor works.

  • Proving that a spark exists on all cylinders tell you very little about the condition/quality of the spark..Any decent master technician will agree that you need a scope to monitor the waveform of the spark...primary voltage level, secondary saturation time, firing voltage, etc.. Does this tool perform that function? Send me more info, I am quite interested!!

  • GAS ENGINE 101: It takes COMPRESSION, FUEL, AIR, and a SPARK to operate. One GOOD SPARK at the RIGHT TIME, relative to the position of the PISTONS, to ignite the "COMPRESSED, PRECISELY METERED AIR FUEL MIXTURE". The carb meters fuel to match the air demand... Fuel injectors meter fuel to match the air demand and oxygen sensors precisly control the mixture in ways carbs cannot..
