This is a very romantic song. Flutist Hannibal is the accompanying voice and it has to be said that the combination of both voices flows beautifully. This live performance took place at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier of Place des Arts in Montreal, Canada.

  • Sometimes even musicians get extra inspiration, Ever notice?

  • @katrobella You and I both. They got by on talent alone, not autotune and skimpy outfits.

  • Her voice got to really show off here, In a way I wish I lived in these times. Music was music...

  • very nice, but nothing tops the Betty Everett / Jerry Butler version.

  • I love Nina Simone. There will never be another voice like this. She is indeed in a league of her own.

  • this is amazingly beautiful! why do we have this crap music nowadays? this is the real stuff!

  • OK this is what it is- she has the phrasing and the timbre to lift the otherwise ordinary

  • Good

  • et oui....."Let It Be Me" is a popular song originally published in 1955 as "Je t'appartiens". The score was written and first recorded by Gilbert Bécaud.
