I live in New York. I deal with these morons who own a Prius and drive almost exclusively on the highway at speeds that destroy any efficiency gains, who honestly do worry about the "carbon footprint" of produce.

Did you reply to the wrong comment or are you just lost in general? The only people "worried" about GMOs have the same relationship with science as those "worried" that we teach evolution in schools.

I'll tell you who the heck cares, people who don't want their generations 20 yrs from now eating nothing but GMOs (Genetically modified foods). Apparently disease, gene mutation, and degeneration of the human species doesn't make your top 30 list of things to be worried about.
