Hello Todd.
I am 22 and I just bought a violin two weeks ago, but because I wanted a good starter violin, I haven't got enough money (yet) to start at a music school. I just wanted to thank you so much for doing this, If you had a site where I could donate a bit of money I would be happy to. Best of luck to you Todd, and I shall be following your videos like a flie on cheese ^^

Todd, you're a obviously a fantastic teacher and a great guy. I think your methodology could be a lot stronger by teaching both melody and reading in relation to the major scale, using it as a template. Teaching scales first, then simple melodies by ear, how to transpose them and then how to read those things was an absolute eye-opener for me.
Respectfully, Paul.

I've been playing guitar and keyboards by ear so I wasn't able to learn to read music scores. I bought a music book to help myself learn reading music scores. The problem was I had no idea on what the book was trying to tell me. Thanks to this video of yours professorV, I now appreciate what I bought!:)

Hello Professor... Just want to thank you for all the lessons you've uploaded on this site... Again, Many thanks!!!
in the first mary had a little lame download, when changing the notes from d1 and d2 into F# and E, you added an extra F# . example: F# E E D E / F# F# F# F# -- / E E E -- / F# F# F# -- /. a simple mistake but easy to fix :D thank you very much for the downloads and all the free internet lessons. VERY HELPFUL
