Roland JD-800 Demo 1 Sounds: 1) 4 oscs detuned saws. 2) low pass, high pass, band-pass filters. 3) Abyss 4) Pulse Pad with the phaser on it followed by JD's cutoff and res effects. Solo patches for synth horn, pipe, hammond, Wet Bass preset, High-Pass filter pad w/ aftertouch demonstration, "Hydra Poly" patch, Wailing Guitar preset, "Synth Horns '68" patch.
Video made on 3/28/2011. Used a Canon PowerShot to record the video, sorry for any distortion getting through.

The JD800 was a great synth. The only problem was that the CPU was not as powerful as it should have been hence the sliders can feel a bit sluggish with complex sounds.
I sold mine in 1999 and bought a Korg Trinity - which I regret to this day!
I ended up buying a Roland JV-2080 later that year to cure my sense of loss after selling the JD800!
