Rick was a maestro. totally underrated. All jazzy, syncopated stuff from this record are because of him, may he rest in peace.

I'm not sure about this documentary. I don't really care about Mozart's 'process' when he created the Marriage of Figaro, to name but one, or Vivaldi's jamming sessions that let him churn out The Four Seasons. Similarly, I'm slightly ambivalent in my attitude to the creative birth pains behind Dark Side of the Moon.
All of the above are beautiful and breathtaking acts of musical wonder and, once performed or published, enrich humanity forever.
Let sober musicologists study the other stuff.
