The same thing just happened to me last night but I had to wait 4 hours just to get my vitals checked. They told us to wait another hour and at that point it had already been 5 hours. But the ultra sound lady said everything looked great. So we just left. I feel so relieved to have seen our babys heart beat.

omg my husband did the same thing with the "probe" he's like didn't that hurt? it was like 10 feet long! i'm so glad everything is ok!

I'm sorry you had such a scary ordeal. =( It is quite common to spot and even cramp some during pregnancy. Hell, there are some gals who get a "period" while pregnant (although it's not a true period). But I totally get being nervous. It's your first baby and you guys have been trying. Trust me, even though I've been pregnant before and even though I work in pregnancy and childbirth education, if I got prego now and had spotting I'd get a little scared myself. I'm glad everything is good! YAY!
