Tivoli Gardens, Jamaican Security Forces

There has been so much misinformation, rumour and speculation about the operations of the Jamaican security forces in Tivoli Gardens that it is difficult to tell fact from creative fiction.

These photos are said to be of some of the dead bodies of civilians killed in the operations, and being hurriedly buried by the security forces in May Pen Cemetery ostensibly because of the state of decomposition.

The still photos appear very similar to some edited film versions shown on the Jamaican television stations, so they appear genuine.

We do need to know the truth.
