when he says free software he isn't talking about price. It's free as in free speech, not free as in free of charge.

There is nothing wrong with making money from your software!

its ludicrous to say: "The GNU Project's relative lack of progress is testament to this. " when 7 million + users use GNU/Linux - Mac OS X would not be around if not for GNU, which means no iphone with out the GNU project...

GNU is in everything from Firefox to every free unix based OS.

and iv was wrong about the number, its now thought to be around 40 millions linux users
