How I write so slowly. This is actually a fast session for me (NOTE: video has been sped up x2). Sometimes I can go four hours and only write 500 words. This is the beginning of chapter 40 of my novel (first draft). I have written over 140,000 words so far. There are about 10-15 chapters left until I am done. I started writing this novel in March 2009. If anyone can give me some tips on how to write faster that would be great. Thanks in advance.

i've written my first novel and currently editing it. I'd highly highly highly suggest you write your book on the software 'Scrivener' instead of microsoft word. Google and you will see why. I've been writing for years now and Scrivener makes it so much easier to manage your novel. If your writing over the 100,000 word mark management is even more crucial!
