At Reclaim Power: Danish Police Use Batons On Peaceful Protestors Outside UN Climate Change Summit

December 16th in Copenhagen the Danish police responded to a peaceful protest outside of the United Nations Climate Change Summit to showcase that many of those who are at risk to the impact of climate change are being forced out of the discussion and the decision making process.

Not sure where you see anything that is but a peaceful protest in the video. There were many delegates who had attended inside of the negotiations for the first part of the week until the UNFCC limited the amount of civil society members inside of the conference.

@MarksMarketing what about this protest? or police brutality everywhere? they get away with it. even if i tried to stand up to the goverment, (which i wont because the goverment and laws in denmark arent bad), what can i do about? no matter what i do they will always have the upper hand.

As long as you give your power to another man or woman and obey them sheepishly as their subject and property you will always be afraid to have your own opinions and will never be free. The law is an ass created to make money for the ones who have anointed themselves rulers of man

@MarksMarketing the danish police needed much reinforcement, therefore most of the policemen were german, besides denmark is no more opressive than your goverment. the policemen did their job. keep them in line. if there were no policemen, the protesters would probably have stormed the building where the meeting took place, and then it would have gotten ugly. the goverment may break as many rules as they want, it is them who make them, i am not happy about that fact, but what can i do?

@mrman5566 Wheather they have something to complain about is a matter of opinion. It seems like the police were the ones getting violent there. By the way remember that the biggest lawbreakers are the govt and the banks but when they do it its ok right?. Is it not against the law to assault a member of the public in Denmark that is what I see, assault by police who dont know how to do their job without violence towards the public who pay their wages. I am surprised denmark is so opressive

Which law are you referring to that says citezens are not allowed to complain if you dont agree with unfair treatment and be subservient to fascist type law enforcement which has no respect for people only for the corporations.
