My mother would drag me and my brothers along with her to Mays in the early 80`s.. We went to the store located on Union turnpike in Queens NY.. While my mother would be shopping for some cheap clothing we would be roaming around the store seeing how much mischief we could get into.. LOL ,miss those good old days

When I was about 5 or 6 my parents had set up the whole house for the Christmas holiday and on that faithful day they said Santa left me a talking Big Bird doll. I looked at my parents and said "I didn't know Santa shopped at Mays" while I pointed at the price tag. I learned of his lack of existence years ago, ha! The story is still a conversation piece with us all.
I used to feed Big Bird soft drinks and put different kinds of tapes in him, though, so he didn't last long...

@sygo7g I've had them in my head for a long time now- I have a few of these but this one has the best quality. There's a few others online, including the one for their going out of business sale which is the only one that didn't use this music!
