A Genius at work.
Prost vs Senna is the greatest rivalry in the history of sport and the two greatest drivers of all time. It was fate that they would face each other in the same era.

Oh puhleeze - Schumi could only dream about driving like Senna and Prost - he was a boy - they were men!

uhh puhleeze, moron? Schumacher drove against Senna and Prost in the early 90s and won a race in the Benetton in 92.

You are right about the hairs on your arms standing up. Every time I watch these hot laps of Senna and Prost at Jerez, I get extremely excited. Especially the right hand flat out section before the final hairpin turn. What a rush!
-
yeah absolutely, both cars are nothing short of phenomenal. way better than today's f1 cars, for sure!

GTRF1V8 Friend, I'd say that the car barely slides due to Prost's masterful set up of his machinery (as always), and due to his clasical .quick but ultra-smooth driving style. McLaren was a "men's machine", as much as this fantastic 641 Ferrari. If you watch carefully the whole hot lap, pay attention to Prost flat out running on the esses...... the hairs on your arms will stand up.....

I agree with Malla, and to me his is second to Senna and much above Schumi...Prost is a milestone in F1-end of story!

@arhavlisj is that so my Friend: as mallamoozoo says: "without Senna, Prost would have been the Best and the Fastest".
-
Prost was great in qualifying...if he did not compete against Senna he would be the fastest of his time...People tend to forget that he was huge....Obviously not as fast as Senna, but still a great qualifier...

Let me tell ya, listening to that screaming wail of that 1990 Ferrari is music to my ears. But the Honda 3.5 V10 engine of 1989 and 90 was the best of them all, along with the Renault 89-97.

Jerez is still my favorite track, with it's high speed corners - and this particular footage sans the chicane at the second-to-last corner. One wonders if it would still be in the schedule had the FIA not reacted so harshly to a "non-qualified" person being on the podium in 1997. I remember Prost in '89, after realizing he wasn't going to win the championship. He said he would do whatever he could to aid Nigel, and everything he could to stop Senna. The FIA didn't take kindly to his comment.

One of the best
man u argue for the best driver, of course its like women, mine is gorgeous but u may not like her, hehe, prost, senna, schumacher mansell, etc, all of them the best in the world, otherwise they would not won for longer, but u miss one of the greatest JIM CLARKC, the one who was capable of wining every meeting, for that, he only had to have an engine with weels, lol
